Jasper Dong

Hi, my name is Jasper Dong and I am a third year Statistics major at UC Davis.

I am broadly interested in environmental and social applications of data science through statistical and machine learning methods, with experience in R, Python, SQL, and MATLAB. Some areas that I am passionate about are policy analysis, geoinformatics, and digital entertainment.

I love to write! Some of the topics that I like to write about are cultural phenomenon, film analysis, and just about any sort of introspective topic that I can think of! Other things I enjoy in my free time are traveling, visiting local bakeries, and attempting to be a decent cook.
